Home Made Fabric Book

I made this for my Mother-in-law's birthday gift. I used interfacing(from a yard sale), fabric (from a yard sale) and cardstock to create the cover. I used felt and paper to create the pages. I made some fabric roses for the first time to use on the book.

Christmas Stockings

These are our Christmas Stockings. I have made them through the years. They are nothing fancy. I just made one this week for the newest member of out family, James (2 months old).

Headboard

Anjie gave this headboard to me. She originally had ribbon across it, creating large diamonds. First, I covered it with a curtain that matches the ones in my room. I used a staple gun to wrap the fabric around the back. Then, I measured where I wanted the buttons and stapled each place twice to make a +. Last, I hot glued the buttons in place and ironed out all the wrinkles. I love it so much! Thanks Anjie!!!

Baby Girl's Art

I painted these for a friend who is expecting her first girl after four boys.
She spray painted an old lamp and painted the lampshade white.   I painted the butterflies on the lamp shade.
Posted by PicasaMy friend bought this at a yard sale. This is what I used to paint the pictures and lamp. The blanket also came with a vallance, mobile, bumper, and diaper holder.  She paid $20 for all of it.

Pizza TIme!

I made this out of felt for my kid's play kitchen.

Tie Onsie

Saw these for sale for $15! I had what I needed and tried it. It is a little hard to sew onto a tiny onsie.

Sports Art

I wrapped the edges with black electrical tape. It looks crisp and sharp.

The basketballs are made of foam and I bought them on clearance one year after Halloween. They are hats!
